How To QUICKLY Gather Marketing Demographic Information For ANY Website!

what's up in 1 Peter Santa's here and I'm going to shoot a real quick video for you talk about demographic targeting when you're going to be doing any sort of marketing on Facebook or plenty of fish or any other market place where you're able to purchase ads or impressions basically I've got gotten a lot of requests for a video like this people are curious about how do you find demographic information how to find that target audience and how to target them basically how to market to them so I'm going to do this really quickly I'm actually running a little late and I got to run out the door so this is going to be a very short video but it's very simple i'm going to show you how to find demographic information and give you a couple of quick tips on how to use that information so a quick example here let's say you're going to promote a random product so i just went to clickbank com clicked on marketplace and just out of randomness clicked on business investing and you can see the very it's sorted by popularity high-lows the top-selling product in this category right now is the lotto black book which is we click that it loads up this page I don't know anything about this product and not endorsing it just the first thing that I'm using as an example so apparently this person knows how to win the lottery I don't know some kind of product typical long-form sales letter these CDs anywhere because they work so this is the product so again I'm not embracing this product I don't know the first thing about it I don't know anything about it so it's you know it's just an example so you can see the domain is the the lotto black book calm so there's two services that you use to get demographic information the first one is quantcast okay that's quantcast com all you do is you go to quantcast com you paste in the URL here and you click find and it brings up a page like this which has its demographic information you can see we're right here it's the lotto black book calm estimated monthly us people's 126,000 visitors every month you can see some basic traffic estimates here but here's some other information that's very useful now sometimes they'll have more information sometimes there's less but this is a general demographic information right here you'll see according to Kwan cast have people if male have people are female shows their ages the vast majority is people 35 to 49 with twenty thirty four percent twenty-seven percent being 50 plus you can see that sixty percent are Caucasian twenty percent are african-american seventy-three percent has no kids 27s has kids the the average income or the income made by the majority of visitors is thirty to sixty thousand a year at thirty-six percent and twenty-six percent right behind it make 0 to 30 k and sixty percent of the people here that business website have no college thirty percent have college so gives you a little bit of a rundown of the people that are here people that are visiting this site but this is only one source we're going to go ahead and verify this or at least see what another service has to say about the demographic information see how it matches up so i like to use the google ad planner or double-click Ad planner as it's called now or as it's called the Googlebot double-click some time ago but if you just go to google.com / ad planner it will load up I'm already logged in so it brings us page up here again you just type in the domain here click the arrow click fine or hit enter and it brings up some information by default I think it has all countries selected so I just select the US just because that's what this was already on you can see here I select on the United States so and if we scroll down after we select the United States you scroll down you can have some basic traffic estimates you can see already that the traffic estimates are way off our way different than quantcast this is on in 52 k I'm sorry 52 k they're saying 126 k hear us so that's a little bit different and see what else is different the majority here according to google is 45 to 54 is the age group of people that visit this site Kwon casts as 35 to 49 so it's not ridiculously off and it's very close with the twenty-seven percent for 50-plus so the age group is is not crazy off it's right right in the range there education is some college according to this everybody is some college obviously that's not going to be correct and its tip totally different from Quan castor says no college gender is about a 40 60 split whereas Quan cats has 50 50 so that's that's close income 25 to 50 is a majority and 5074 as the is a next jump which is not totally off from here either the ranges are a little bit different you can see this starts at 25 for this bulk and a good chunk from years in the 0 30 so that you know vast majority of those could be in the 25 to 30 k range so because of the arranged differences I'd say that this is probably fairly accurate I think this education one here is the only one that stands out as a major difference so you can just test it out for either of those for either one so how you can use this information I'm going to go through this really quick but basically you can use sites like Facebook or plenty of fish to target your ad campaigns they all offer pretty specific demographic information that you can use and so you can take information from here creates a two or three different ad campaigns with I don't know 10 add each or whatever usually the more add to the better so you can find the best converting ads and you can tone it down you can narrow it down based on demographic information so say you have so you create three ad groups one for age group you know 35 to 40 41 for age group 45 to 54 14 age group 55 to 64 they all have the same ads in there and you see and you're able to track which ones are actually generating the most clicks and ultimately the most sales and doing that is it's fairly simple especially with clickbank you just passed something called a tid but i won't get into that right now so once you find out which ad group is is converting better then you can focus on that so say just as a quick example say in an age group of 35 to 44 was actually converting the most you're getting maybe not the most clicks but the most sales are the most valuable visitor if you break down that that ad group into say three specific ad groups say ages 35 to 37 and then 37 to 40 and then 40 to 44 and out of those you see which one converts the best so you take that one that's to ridding the best and you break it down into smaller groups so say 35 36 37 okay now you have three new ad groups and so then from there you can able to see which one is is converting the best and of course you can mix and match other different elements as well like you can target only male or only female for specific age group to see you or you can target both but different ad groups so you can sort of see which one is converting better you can target various income levels college levels etc so basically you take do this over time it really only takes maybe three or four days to fine-tune it this way to see which one is actually converting the best and able to you know hopefully turn a profit so you're going to take a little bit of a loss up front while you're gathering this information but in the end you're going to end up making you know hopefully become coming ahead if you're able to fine tune in and it's the converting offer and everything else in this case it probably is will convert it off it's at the top of the Clickbank most popularity chart there so and if you can see here a lot of the traffic is coming from clickbank so i'm going to assume that it's actually converting well and so you should be able to turn into a profitable campaign that's just a very quick example there's so much information that we can go into this but it's going to give you a quick tip on how to actually find some demographic information and how you can actually use it so for now this is it if you have any questions if you're seeing this video on youtube or on my blog whatever it might be leave a comment in the post below or in the comments section below and I'll try to answer you whenever I have a chance so again Peter Sanchez Peter Sanchez calm I hope you enjoyed the video
