Yoseizi Aprann EXCEL An Creole – L’Editeur Pou Débutants (Excel for beginners in Creole)

Hi! Good Evening, Good Morning based on where you’re listening Today we’re starting a session In Excel. We’re going to look today the interface of Excel In this session we’re going to use the 2013 version but if you have the 2016 it’s about the same Then you can follow along with us When you open the Excel application Here is the screen that comes up. On the left side In the green section You will find the files that were recently opened That’s not the ones we’re going to use. If you look at the top of the screen where the mouse is moving you will see that there are templates that are suggested business, personal, budget, calendar list. But today we’re going to open a … a… blank workbook We then click on blank workbook When it opens that’s the screen we see basically We will have this screen as our workbook. In it we’re looking at many parts that we’re going to identify for you Follow the movements of the mouse that I’m moving around and that you will see Let’s start with the titles we see at the top of the screen. We see a row that has File, Home, Insert Formula, Data Review That line of titles is called the Menu The ribbon of Menus The Menu Bar That’s how it’s called. This means each menu in that bar precisely each module in the menu bar When you click by example on Home you will see a ribbon is opened below a ribbon. In the ribbon you have functions. It’s a Tools Bar basically, There are lot of tools in it. And when you click on one of them it will give you a sub-menu which is contextual for the menu you click on. If you click on data by example…you will see that it has as long as it has … functions or tools that are associated with it it will show at the bottom… We have the menu bar the ribbon which is the tools bar… When we look at below You will see another row that has letters in it like A B C D E F and so on If you move further to the right you will see AA columns name with double characters And further right you will see columns with 3 letters The letters represent the columns I don’t remember exactly the number but I believe In Excel there are more than 16000 columns
